"The property appeared to be a short-term apartment rental. It was bit worn, and cooking smell in the hall. Not what I've experienced at other VRBO or Air B &B. The furnishings were thrift shop-esque. The check-in process did not go well. We were given a combination for the building door that worked, but the combo for the door to the room did not. We contacted the property manager and they had a person there to help us in minutes. Once the room was accessed it appeared that it was occupied...

"We did not even check in to Cottonwood Cabins! We pulled up about 9:00 pm, still light because of the long days, no cars, lights, and looked abandoned. Cabins looked like homemade structures with ply board. Tried to call, no answer. Tried to get online to send a message and their website was shut down, then went to their Facebook page and it had no activity since last year!!!! Still charged me!!!!!! Tried to work it out with Hotels.com but could not!!!! This is a scam and fraud!!!!! DO NOT...

"Overall very good stay just shy of excellent. There were a couple of minor details that weren't deal breakers but were minor annoyances - master bathroom outlet didn't work, ice maker in fridge didn't work, slight odor downstairs on day one. Laundry and dishwasher all worked and there was soap and detergent there already which was very nice. Like i said though this was a very good stay and i would not hesitate to stay again."
