"It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel ."

"First, the hotel was clean and the rooms were very spacious. The staff were also courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is not included in the room rate but was affordable and delicious. "I loved my stay at Comfort Hotel. The room was very spacious and it was so affordable. My room faced the train station but I didn't hear any of the trains coming or going. This hotel offered free snacks and breverages at the huge lounge downstairs. Wonderful after a day of sightseeing around Kyoto. They also offer a free lending library. So unique. I loved the location too. This hotel is right across the street from the Toji Station. Very convient if you want to go to Nara Park or Arashiyama...

"Lovely Japanese style hotel with friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed the complimentary Japanese breakfasts daily that were delivered to our room at a time we chose. Rooms were immaculate and cleaning done daily with fresh towels. Enjoyed looking at the koi fish and beautiful views of the pagoda from the rooftop garden. Very convenient to train station and restaurants. Highly recommend! "

"My son and I traveled from Portland Oregon to celebrate his graduation from high school. This was our favorite place we’ve stayed in our short 8 day whirl wind trip. So Kyoto feels more like an Air B&B than a hotel, which we love! It felt like home. Thank you So Kyoto I hope to come back and stay again! "

"The property is amazing, about 15 minutes walk from Kyoto Tower and a few steps from the metro.The staff at reception were very friendly, the amenities were extensive, and the buffet was complete and delicious. Don't hesitate to request it because you'll be walking a lot. The hair products they sell are totally luxurious and highly recommended. I would definitely come back"
