"The place was good and the on site staff were helpful but the overall experience from Hotels.com was terrible and made the whole trip unpleasant. The accommodation don’t answer the phone and Hotel.com have appalling customer service and just don’t care what happens after they take your money, they openly admit that they have NO complaints procedure and that they do not abide by Data Protection law. "I loved the en-suite lovely big bed.The kitchen was excellent had everything you needed.It was very warm in the front room.there is a local shop down the road and the bus stops outside.it was extremely clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful."

"Excellent price for a short stay, about a 15mins walk from York City Centre, so perfectly located to access shops, attractions and places to eat etc. Asda just down the road perfect to grab some basic essentials & munchies. Room basic but very clean, pillows could have been a bit firmer, but ensure shower room was nice. Staff extremely friendly & helpful throughout my stay."

"Friendly staff, easy to check in, spacey room for a solo traveller. The room was not super clean but clean and tidy enough, nothing to worry about. The location was good—walkable distance to the shambles and the bus stop to Whitby and Scarborough."
