"What a beautiful property that is rich in historic charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hrlpgul staff, easy parking on the property, and the restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to enjoy the breakfast as we had an early flight back home."

"Unique building, quiet area( except for local dogs barking) good parking. Wonderful outdoor space. The hosts lives there, has dogs. They are well behaved (they weren't barking) horses too! "Plotted in between the sights and central Sintra, this hotel is in a nice location. Be prepared for about a 10-15 min walk to Sintra and an uphill 25 min walk to the Moorish castle. Uber/Bolt are all around and quite convenient. The grounds are beautiful, the room and the main house were very nice and very clean and peaceful. No in room TV or fridge in our room and really, nothing of entertainment value in the evening here, so plan to stay in Sintra through the evening for that. Breakfast was...

"A big "Thank You" to Douglas and his team. There is nothing they have not thought of or taken care of. The rooms and living areas were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The attention to detail is very clearly shown by the interesting decor. Douglas laid out a great itinerary for us that included some sites that the bus tours would never visit. Casa da Estefânea has a great location to explore the Sintra area. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming stay in this...

"Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a narrow, hallway-style shape. Our knees touched the wall in front of us when sitting on the toilet. The room was slightly humid (end of April stay). The wifi did not work for me, but did off and on for other guests. The hotel was hard to find because there is no number “23” to mark the address. We missed the small plaque posted at the beginning of a stone wall/fence down below the yellow building. You walk up a driveway to the building...
