"Booked “hotel” in January. Missed fine print-shared bathroom. Emailed & texted them to upgrade to a room with bathroom. Their policy was no changes & no refunds. But you never know til you ask. Waited & waited. You would think a sales organization would jump at the chance of making more money. Not this one. Waited a week then called Expedia for help. They called. They emailed. No response. Finally a week later the “hotel” & Expedia responded to me with no to the upgrade.

"What a fabulous hotel for exploring Lisbon! It is in the Baixa but is so accessible to almost everything you want to see. The common areas and rooms are beautifully designed and feature many nods to Lisbon landmarks. The breakfast is stellar, with lovely fruit and egg dishes to order. Even though this is a busy street, the rooms are quiet at night. The linens and beds are high quality and the staff is friendly and helpful. I will look for this brand in other European cities."

"Blown away by the friendliness of the staff. Offered us a Portuguese custard tart and a glass of wine at checkin. No other hotel in 50+ years has done that for me. And as a returning guest we got a special surprise too. You’ll have to find out for yourself. Only suggestion is post instructions for using the coffee machine. I wasted 2 pods before I figured it out."

"Excellent hotel, perfect location, very attentive and friendly staff, and very clean. Loved the sauna and pool! Loved all the little details like tea time at 5, chocolate in room, front desk always there to arrange airport pick ups/drop offs, and to answer any and all questions. Breakfast was fantastic! Sooooo super clean too and comfortable beds. I highly recommend and will be back when in Lisbon!"

"Ein nettes kleines Hotel mitten in der Hauptstraße von Lissabon - und dennoch bekommt man bei geschlossenen Fenstern kaum etwas von dem Trubel mit. Durch die zentrale Lage konnte man vieles einfach erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang waren alle sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht, bei jeder Frage behilflich zu sein.
