"161 Norte sits in a fantastic part of Lisbon, and for a quick pre-flight stopover, it gets the job done. The price and location are genuinely hard to argue with for budget travelers passing through. That said, there are a few things worth knowing before you book. There's no front desk staff after 7pm — something I only discovered after arriving late and having to haul my luggage several blocks on my own. It also created an awkward situation on my way out when another guest was waiting outside hoping to check in with no one around to help them. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are shared, and cleanliness left something to be desired. For an overnight pit stop it's manageable, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than a night or two. Bottom line: if you're just passing through, need a budget option, and don't mind a no-frills setup, it works. Just go in with the right expectations."
