"My family of three stayed at Melia Puerto Vallarta in September 2025 for five nights, and we had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, all the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our entire stay. For my birthday, we made a reservation at Tauro, their steak restaurant on-site. The food was delicious, but what truly stood out was the amazing service. Our toddler wanted to play outside the restaurant, and the waitress noticed we were struggling to enjoy our meal. She kindly offered to play with him just outside, where we could still see him through the window. Thanks to her kindness, I was able to fully enjoy my birthday dinner—something I’ll never forget. There are so many fun activities for kids, including a playground that my son loved. It’s definitely a great resort for families, with plenty of amenities for children. On top of that, the staff went above and beyond on my birthday by decorating our room with balloons and surprising us with dessert. I felt so special and appreciated. I highly recommend Melia Puerto Vallarta, especially for families looking for both relaxation and kid-friendly fun."

"I stayed at the Marival for 2 weeks. The resort itself is great. They had shows every night in the theatre from the entertainment team and activities throughout the day by the main pool. Fernanda from the entertainment team was super helpful and friendly the whole time. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a family vacation."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Family Vacation Experience! We had a fantastic family trip at Hotel Riu Vallarta! The rooms were clean, the service was great, and the food options were plentiful throughout the day. What really stood out was the entertainment team especially Frida and Jorge, who were both incredibly friendly and engaging. They made sure there were fun activities for everyone in the family, including our teenagers, who usually don’t get excited about resort games. Thanks to Frida and Jorge, they got involved in ping pong tournaments and volleyball matches and genuinely felt included and welcomed. That made the trip even more memorable for us. Every evening was packed with high-quality entertainment from live music and circus shows to karaoke night. There was always something fun going on, and the vibe around the resort was lively and family friendly. We truly appreciate the care and effort from the hotel staff and activity coordinators. "I really like the location. This time of year the pool bar service was slow when only one person working. The people are usually pretty friendly here."

"I love this hotel's location on the beach and in the heart of the bars and restaurants that i enjoy. I don't get the "all inclusive" package because there are so many options off property. I remember 30 years ago it looked a bit tired, and it still is a bit tired with."good enough" repairs evident in and it of the unit. But, i find it comfortable, quiet, good a/c, acceptable water pressure and hot water. The staff is very pleasant. The restaurant Maximilian out front is very good and reasonably priced for breakfast or a gourmet dinner. My only complaint is that the limited number of pool chairs are reserved or otherwise "claimed" early each morning. "
