"Called the Manager because we were unsure if we arrive late for checkin. They were very friendly to prepare a check in after hours. Room was clean and furnished very cute, we liked it a lot. Clearly you can see it‘s an older building which has been refurbished, but it’s very nice, near to Sequoia NP and everything you need is available: Kitchen, Toaster & Microwave, water & coffee as well as a laundry area. "On Expedia the price was less than on the lodge’s website which was nice. It’s a nice lodge but felt over priced for the time of the season. Only had the pizza with a salad and it was okay. The rooms are a bit of a walk from the parking lot and saw lots of people using valet carts to transport luggage. A bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise, clean and nice space. Check in was easy. Gift shop had everything I needed."

"The property was beautiful. Lush and green, there were even swings which I love in the playground! It is definitely pet friendly and the pet fee is very reasonable. We parked right outside of our little cottage and then took a walk down to the river, not far from the property. Would definitely stay here again."
