"I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay. It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub."

"We really enjoyed staying at forest lodge. We were made to feel very welcome and relaxed in the bar area. Staff were welcoming and kind and friendly. A lady gave us a free bottle of Prosecco to help us celebrate our anniversary. Sitting in the bar having a meal and a drink was one of my highlights on our break. Some of the hotels main procedures cause them a bit of difficulty. For instance asking everyone for photo ID at check in- if this needs to be done it could be done at booking. Also...

"We had a good stay at the property, staff was very friendly and helpful, bed was huge and very comfortable, comfy pillows too, nice specious room which was tad dated but was clean enough not to spoil our stay. Good pub attached to the hotel, great that it had little play area to keep little ones happy and on the day we arrived there was a bouncy castle which was huge bonus.
