There are 2 cafe/restaurants side by side as you walk out front door.The room was very small and no place to hang clothes unless you are around 6'6' as the only closet is out of normal reach.There is no fan for the room so we smelled the bathroom odor which had a Methane gas/sewer smell.We had to keep door closed to bathroom.The door in room opened to a building 20 ft away which was horrible to look at and tenants so no privacy if you need air.Towels were not allowed according to Lara every day so you needed to use a towel and hang it up for next day.There was no place to put garbage except for a 8 inch yes I did say eight inch round and 6 inch high for bathroom.There was a note that read in hallway not to leave any garbage in a sink area in hallway which would have helped.
We did request a view for stay but I guess it was too late and had pushback as to why we would like a view of the Collesseum as we should not be in room and to be exploring Rome.Which we did explore everything we planned but in downtime who needs a smell and no ventilation and to look at 4 walls.Not sure of Laras title but she was very helpful as to where to go and where to eat and gave numerous tips on both.Last but not least we found out that there's a 6 dollar per person tax daily.
