Rockford Hotels with Swimming Pool

"Too early for outdoor pool. Front desk person at check in was not very friendly or helpful. Made us feel less than welcome. Didn’t seem interested in answering any questions. We had a lakeside room but it overlooked the roof and was not an attractive sight with all the mess on it. Plus they were installing some kind of big unit so it was noisy. We wouldn’t have bothered with a lakeside room if we had known that was th view. I"

"We were looking for a same night place to stay with dogs on a road trip and this fit the bill. Good location, spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast was a nice bonus! Great view and park across the river is great for kids and pups."

"2nd time staying here. And it's a nice hotel with a beautiful golf course. In a nice area with a few nice restaurants a close drive away. Restaurant was under renovation so we never got to try it. They where serving food in main lobby but we never tried it. Pool etc is definitely in nead of a tidy up steam room wasn't working and it just as an old feel to it. Staff where nice. Only downside I have to it is that it felt like the room where being used for social living as well as hotel guest. A lot of people only using the bottom door entrance to get in which was always unlocked. Strong smell of weed in corridors etc. I'm not sure what the set up is in hotel regarding the rooms with social living etc. but you could tell it wasn't people on a weekend trip. We still enjoyed or stay but I'm more reluctant to go back "
