"This lodging had very good beds, it was generally clean, and the basic necessities were all there. You could definitely hear people walking on the floor above, so not great sound insulation. The continental breakfast wasn't worth the price for us - the toaster didn't toast all that well, and the fresh fruit was quite limited. Overall, though, we had a safe clean place to sleep, which is what we most needed."

"A great hotel - it's basic like other well known hotel chains - but it fulfills all the requirements. The room is neat, clean, and the bed is comfy. Even though it's on a road, the back rooms are relatively quiet. The walls are quite thin, so I could easily hear the next room, or doors slamming. Great position for Guildford town, in 10 minutes walk down the hill, and you're in town. Breakfast not included, nor is the £10 parking charge."

"Having read previous reviews my expectations were high and I was not disappointed 😊 Spotlessly clean, plenty of room, comfy beds and more cooking utensils than most homes would have. Only a 10 minute walk to the local pub “The Cricketers” who serve fantastic meals. Would certainly stay again if it was available again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage☺️"

"Good signage made it easy to find, easy parking, lovely owners. Really great place - nicely furnished with very comfy armchair and incredibly well equipped kitchen. Shower had both a normal head and a rainfall one, which was very luxurious! Lovely location as in a cul de sac so very quiet overnight, but easy walk to the town amenities and into the countryside."
