"The Angel Posting House is a quirky Tudor-era property, with long and interesting history and many historically-famous guests. Thus the property has a many different levels and steps up to the rooms; each with a wonky charm; typical of this era dwellings. "Friendly welcome. Characterful room with good quality tea tray. Great breakfast. Unfortunately the room was not overly clean and the bathroom in particular was tired, run down and felt grubby. Black and dirty sealant around the outside of shower. Broken tiles on floor, broken loo roll holder, grubby and badly marked walls and thick dust/grime on skirting. With a deep clean and a little maintenance this could be a great place to stay."
