"nice old motel, clean, quiet, has all well maintained basics, but only the basics. A comfortable bed, a dresser with drawers, night stands and lamps. Small bath with tub. Fast wifi. Ample parking. Nice view. Near JFK. That's all. No desk and chair for work. No coffee maker forhot drinking water. No closet to hang my coat andshirts..No shuttle. Taxi or Uber to or from JFKcost $25-30. A grocery store nearby. A very good Asian restaurant next door. Italian restaurants walking distance."

They mentioned my Marriott bonvoy membership which I had forgotten, provided detailed information on dining and airport shuttle services. Welcome relief after a 19 hour flight! Breakfast staff were less friendly though"

"From the time I got on the shuttle until the time I got on the shuttle back to the airport. Everyone I interacted with were professional, suoer courteous and helpful.I was very pleased. The room was clean and spacious....I enjoyed the M Lounge. Just a great experience overall. Will use them again for sure."

"The staff is very nice and accommodating. From the front desk, breakfast and housekeeping was nice. I rated low on maintenance and cleanliness due to my experiences. This is my second time here and it is fairly new and appears clean but both times I’ve stayed here the shower wasn’t clean properly, hair on the floor of the shower. Which is disgusting and concerns me if everything is sanitized and cleaned properly. Next was the inconvenience one of the elevators stopped working. Which was scary...

"My biggest issue with the hotel was at no fault of the staff. It is located in East New York Brooklyn, one of the top five crime areas of NYC. I had no issues, but made it a point to return to the room by sundown. It was very close to the subway, so that was very convenient and helped me feel a little safer. The only other issue that occurred was the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking on my last day. Luckily I was able to stay there using points, so it was worth the risky neighborhood and...
