"We booked a luxury double. It was a very small room. The furniture was a bit tired and had some stains on the chair. Not enough ventilation as could hardly open the windows. No hairdryer in room had to ask for one. Wasn’t worth the money we paid. Didn’t have breakfast. No parking. Wouldn’t stay there again as I know there are cheaper and better places."

The wet room style of bathroom meant that shower water often pooled by the loo, (whose seat was a bit loose). I stayed for two nights and despite the notice that my room would be serviced from 10 am, when I got back to my room at 12.30 on my second day it had not been touched. "The room was good but bathroom plugs etc needed repair. Would have been nice if I didn’t have to ask for water to be delivered to room. The staff were very helpful but had to request room to be cleaned on one of the days. Had waited patiently until 4.00 p.m. We had been forgotten. On our last day there was a conference which was to last a week. Hundreds of people in reception area and lounge area. Very very noisy and nowhere for other guests to go to get away from the noise.
