"Location was beautiful, hotel was wonderful, staff were fantastic! I usually go cheaper and more simple. The only reason I went more expensive this time was availability of parking and the pool due to 33 degree heat. Parking was an additional £29 and the pool had been extremely well used that day. Having said that, I couldn't have been more grateful for the air conditioning. I did get a great night sleep and the showers were great."

Our room and bathroom were not huge but more than adequate and comfortable. The theming of the rooms, corridors, stairways and bar area is amazing, thoughtful, creative and makes this hotel worth a stay for sure, as does the cheeky nature and sense of humour. "It was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The location was great, and it was quiet and peaceful, even when the rest of the city was having a good time. My room was called Indulgence, and I was lucky to have a view, with large windows, of the sea and the small park outside. This proved to be extra useful as I wasn't feeling well one of the days and spent it fully in the room.
