"I stayed at this hotel many years ago. It's exactly the same, so in dire need of room updates. I booked a superior room and the first one they sent us to seemed like it had been left for dead, like a college dorm room. There were no pictures on the wall. The furniture was super cheap, the bedding almost non-existent, and the bathroom was gross. I went to the front desk to complain and the manager gave us a new room which was appointed like the pictures which I appreciated. That said, the bathroom had no fan and dirty water would drip from the ceiling and the windows are so old they had mould around the edges. The furniture was even older. That said, the location is great and the ground floor tuck shop and cafe bar was excellent. We made it work but I will never stay there again."
