Hotel Dekat Rainham Leisure Centre

"The hotel was good but I was shocked by their policy of housekeeping. They only change bedsheets after a 3 night stay, which was puzzling for me because I was of the understanding that the bedsheets should be changed every day unless stated otherwise by the guest. Then there was a staff who even told me that even after the 3 night stay, I still had to put in a request for the room to be cleaned before 12pm, if that time is missed, then you wait 5 nights before the bedsheets can be changed. "Staff were all very super helpful and friendly. Claire made our stay very special, her kindness and attention to customer service was the best I have experienced in a very long time anywhere. A great place to stay for a short break, clean rooms, comfortable beds, unlimited breakfast. Good value for money, 15 min walk to bus services from road behind hotel to station and shopping centre. I would definitely stay here again."

"I stayed during a heatwave and the property had no AC making the room impossible to sleep in. The room was also infested with mosquitos and tiny bugs, in the morning had multiple bites across my skin and had an extremely uncomfortable night. The second night I decided to leave as it was pointless to try to sleep and just took the earlier coach home. Staff were very kind, however there was nothing they could do as the hotel is just not in good enough condition."

"I was staying at this hotel for 5 days. The property was clean and outside was well maintained. However of all the hotels I’ve been to, I’ve never experienced NOT having a mini fridge or microwave. So for me who has small kids this definitely would not be ideal.(my kids were not on this trip) This was a huge inconvenience. There menu options in my opinion wasn’t the best and pricy. They don’t warm up outside food. So for that reason alone I wouldn’t come back to this location. Not all holiday...

"The hotel is advertised with aircon, I called to have that confirmed which it was. On arrival the aircon had been broken for over a week, the lady on the desk simply didn’t care obnoxious and ignorant. We had to buy fans for the room and it basically ruined our night"

"location was good for what we needed, close the the DLR. Food was not available when we arrived which was lunch time, but good pub walking distance away . comfy beds and great aircon which is what we needed as weather was extremely hot"

"Great hotel featured a pool sauna ans steam room and gym sadly unable to use as didn't get time. Breakfast was great and the freshly made pancakes made the kids soo happy. The only thing is the room was dusty and not sure about the fridge if it was working. After checking out, we was given free donuts which the kid's loved.!"
