"Is based on busy intersection. I checked in on Saturday night. Very busy, lots of people noisey. Was right by lift. Clean room but lots of road noise and screaming from reverse bungy but is right in center of surfers so well placed. Pool looked grubby so didnt use. Staff were helpful and nice"

"I liked that tram was right next to it the hotel, was convenient to go shopping the room I stayed had a nice view of some parts of the beach, Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful, 5 to 10min walk close to beach, restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was average the variety of the basics it was convenient to have and go to our daily activities"

"Location was fantastic, perfect if using public transport. Apartment was just like described & looked in photos. Great views & value for money. Great for our family of four. The only criticism I have is the pillows are average but over all fab. Will definitely rebook!"

"Old and very tired, in need of refurbishment. Three main things define a quality room - Plumbing, Pillows and Aircon, FAIL on all 3. You can hear other people's plumbing running. The pillows are thin cheap ones probably bought from Coles and the aircon was ineffective. Had to set it to 17C and flat out to even get the room down to a temperature where I wasn't sweating. Hardly slept and won't ever stay here again!"

"Great Location! Front desk staff were polite and friendly and resolved any qualms I had. Hotel is in a great location close to convention centre, casino and beach. Obviously due to the age of the property the room itself is tired with clunky wooden furniture that is showing wear and tear. The room is spacious, with a big modern tv and great ocean view , however the decor needs to be updated to keep up with the times of what a modern beach hotel should look like."

"Our room was not cleaned. When requested later in the day at 1pm, it was still not cleaned. A further request was made at 5.30pm and the bed was made but the rest of the room was not cleaned. No towels, bins full. After requesting a 4th time we were told that housekeeping finishes at 2.30pm."

"Unit was clean and had well stocked kitchen,utensils and cookware.washing powder for laundry and dryer.Very quiet and just a few minutes walk to main shops and G train.would stay there again"

"Room was dirty needs to be cleaned, with all furniture updated, cooking utensils could not be used as there were old and damaged, AC hasn’t been cleaned in years, Window would not lock properly. I definitely would avoid if you get room 404. "
