"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. We actually went there to look for a potential wedding venue, the people we were supposed...

"This was a great find for us.
It's quiet and it of the way. Peaceful and set in rice paddy fields whilst only 10 minute walk to the Indo/StarMart or Babi Guling.
Our 3 room villa had a private pool, small kitchen and dining area. TV facilities weren't connected until we asked. Restaurant area is nice and affordable. Decent variety.
Pool area is great for adults and family and bring open a a local water park you get to mingle with locals in the afternoon.

"We’ve always liked the IZE chain of hotels in Bali, always in good location and value for money.
We booked a room to house our luggage while we did a short trip to Lombok and all our belongings were safe and secure. I was also expecting a parcel to arrive and the staff helped me to receive and hold on to the package while we were away.

"The room was exceptional and beautifully designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the stay feel very personal. The property itself is breathtaking—thoughtfully built and surrounded by nature, creating a calm, wellness-focused environment. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavour. Both the yoga and sound-healing sessions were deeply relaxing and a highlight of the stay.
If there was one area for improvement, it would be the gym. Given the retreat’s strong focus on wellness, the fitness space was surprisingly small and lacked free weights, which was disappointing.
Overall, Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort delivered a memorable and revitalizing experience. I would happily return and recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful escape"
