"When we arrived at the hotel they did not have our booking in their system and looked very surprised to see anyone there. We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. "The staff was very unhelpful. Starting with not helping with bags or anything else. If you wanted to order anything from the restaurant you had to walk to them as they didn't pay attention to you. The food including the breakfast was one of the worst i had in Bali on my three long visits. The room had a paper thin straw wall. I could hear my neighbor like he was in my room. The shower was nice. The pool was alright. The pool towels had stains on them. The yoga was extra charge. Overall disappointment. Would not be back!"

"The property itself is very nice. Didn’t realize it was in a secluded area that’s isolated and difficult to get in and out of. Within this area there are restaurants and beach clubs which aren’t included, and everything is so much more expensive than regular prices in Bali. But they can charge more cuz you don’t have access to anything else. The Expedia ad makes it seem like the beach club utopia and all is included, but the only thing it includes is the entrance. You still have to pay minimum $100 to rent our day beds and buy food and drink. Beach was closed the entire time we were there, through the beach club. Really nice sunset view, and the villas are really nice as well. I just don’t like how it’s like a resort but at the same time it’s not cuz you still have to pay for everything inside and it’s overpriced. If you’re gonna act like a resort, than all that should be included in the price of the stay. Staff were nice, food was not bad. Generally did not like the food in Bali and here were some of the better meals I had."

"April 2026: This is probably our seventh time staying at this incredible meticulously Puri Dajuma Eco Resort. Exceptionally trained and caring staff delicious breakfast options and views one can only dream about we particularly like Soka A, a charming bungalow in the upper pool area. Shell seekers. Leisurely walks. Surfing at Medewi. Free shuttle to nearby currency exchange, simple markets and to surf spots. Come here to get away from your daily world. Do keep in mind that the heat can keep you inside your place; great way to catch up on sleep, work on your watercolor painting, start that screen play draft, and play with each other. We will definitely be back again next year. Thanku Puri Dajuma, especially Dina, Erik, Eddie & Padmi. You’re all wonderful! 😄🙏"

"Overall, this is an extremely aesthetically pleasing property. On the newer side, so everything is well maintained and the rooms are immaculate. The only downside for me personally- as a solo female traveler- is this is also a very kid-friendly property. Meaning there will be kids running around, kids in the pool, kids also running around the gym while you’re trying to work out. The gym also has one treadmill - and limited equipment so often times I had to wait or come back at a later time. I also found a couple roaches in my room - this doesn’t bother me too much being the humid climate and being on the ground floor next to the pool. Just for others to keep in mind when booking. Otherwise, it’s a great property and walking distance to evening you need for a nice stay."

"Our stay at Nirjhara was amazing! We booked the jungle pool pavilion room and it was quite literally perfection. From the time we checked in until the day we left, we were greeted by name, with professionalism, kindness and with genuine warm smiles. The staff really raised the bar at this hotel. Aris, Doni, Tia, Duta, Hardi, Yohan and several others truly made a difference and elevated our whole experience. We will be dreaming about the exceptional food, luxurious spa, inviting pool and stunning waterfall for many years to come! We hope to come back. "

"The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was amazing. However, they definitely need to improve on sealing the rooms as there are so many large gaps on every window and door as our kids had so many mosquito bites. They also need to close off the outdoor bathroom as my wife was unable to shower or use the bath tub in private as there was a room directly above the open bathrooms, there were also lots of ants and bugs crawling all over the bath tub so we couldn't enjoy it."
