"Overall, we had a good time at Excellence Playa Mujeres. The resort itself is beautiful, especially the pools, which were clean, relaxing, and one of the highlights of our stay. The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and clearly working very hard. That being said, the food was below average compared to what we expected from a resort of this level. Another issue was the slow service at times, especially when ordering drinks by the pool, which often took much longer than expected. It honestly seemed like the resort may be understaffed, because the employees were kind and doing their best, but service delays were noticeable throughout our stay. With better staffing and improvements to the food quality, this resort could provide a much better overall experience."
