"Compared to other hotels in Venice this hotel has a contemporary style. Check in was fast, the beds were comfortable, and we very much appreciated the air-conditioning. We stayed in a family room which was small (like most hotel rooms in Venice) but very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location close to San Marc Square and a short walk from the Rialto water taxi stop. The bakery in the same building has excellent pastries and healthy lunch options. The hotel location is perfect for seeing all the major sites while still giving you a more quiet evening by hotel if needed. The upstairs bar was a nice spot to relax at the end of a busy day - just wish it stayed open later (closed at 9:30) and drink prices were a very pricey."

"The check in process is done at the hotel but we stayed at an annex building a distance away. It was inconvenient to have to arrive at the main hotel just to have to walk to the other building, especially when you are tired and have to carry luggage. I didn't realize that we would be responsible for taking trash out. I'm on vacation and do not want to worry about recycling, trash, etc. The annex building has no housekeeping or towels.
