"The hotel itself is good, nicely decorated, modern and clean. The food was bad, breakfast was inedible for anything that was actually cooked. Bacon was slapped on the pan, not even taken apart so all the slices were burnt on the outside but barely cooked underneath each slice, clearly the "chefs" don't care. Eggs were under cooked, omelettes were tasteless, sausages burnt and the cheapest you can buy, not something you'd expect from a five star hotel. Croissants were nice though, thankfully they didn't need cooking. The all inclusive restaurants on site weren't much to write home about either, again using cheap ingredients, we probably had two dishes that were ok at best. So much so, even though we paid for all inclusive we made the decision to eat out every day. The staff were on the most grumpy, fed up and saw us as just another customer. Not the experience you expect from an apparent five star hotel. Everything we asked, including booking taxis for us, or asking for milk for my daughter seemed too much for them and a chore. Having stayed at other hard rock hotels, this one definitely doesn't live up to the others standard. I definitely won't be returning and was happy to be leaving. I would have relayed my concerns at check out, but I wasn't asked how my stay was either."

"The hotel is very well located, right on the promenade, but also in a noisy area. There's a pub right next door with live music until late. There are plenty of sunbeds, nicely placed, not only by the pools but also in the cascading areas. The room is pleasant, but the bathrooms could use some updating, especially the shower cabins, as they leak. Breakfast and dinner are varied, with something for everyone."

"There were a collection of things that made our stay less than disappointing. Number 1: There was an extremely drunk guest who harassed our group several nights in a row, even threatening to throw a table at us. Miguel, the hotel manager, told us after we complained that there was nothing he could do until the guest physically assaulted us and is witnessed by a member of staff. Very odd and we felt totally unsafe walking around incase we came across this aggressive guest. Other reasons include: the hotel claims 7 swimming pools, but 4 are maybe 2 inches deep, and only 1 pool is heated so the other 6 are unusable. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Everything seems to be an inconvenience to them. Drinks are slammed in front of you, you’ll have to wait 20mins to be served. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was ok, nothing spectacular. There were few occasions however we were given dirty cutlery and cups with lipstick on. Room amenities were not great. In 2 of the 3 rooms we had booked, the baths were broken, one of which would only work while the shower was running. Vegetarian options are seriously lacking at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Night time entertainment is decent, however extremely cold in the off season with no indoor alternative options. The “Spa” was also no spa at all. Our group paid €105 for a private jacuzzi, which turned out to be just a bath tub. It should have been clearly labelled on the booking as a jacuzzi bath. "

"Lovely hotel experience, very premium experience in a nice location. The breakfast was well worth it and the pool area had plenty of seating (though I'd still recommend going early to get seats). The spa was also very worth the price. My main concern is that the Preferred Club breakfast was not worth the extra cost. The breakfast in the main area was better than the a la carte option. Though the nice part of the preferred club was the separate cabanas and afternoon snacks/booze. I would stay here again, staff made everything possible to give us a good experience. Letting us stay extra hours because of our flight being later in day"

"We had a see / pool view. The hotel was said to be 4 star. Was more like a 2 star. I have travelled to most countries and this hotel was the most disappointing. Very dated. Broken tiles everywhere. The bath un usable. Lime scale thick in bath .urine stains at the base of the toilet. Wood in room very chipped. Dirt mostly around the edges of the floor. No fly screen on the patio doors. Fridge was very rusty. I was bitten quite badly the first night.second night the same pulled back sheets and found bugs in the bed . I did take pics of them.the staff were willing to listen and help. But the damage was done the bites l had received in the bed were infected so needed treatment right away ended cutting my holiday short and leaving the hotel early so l could get back to Scotland and get medical advice. "
