"Much improvement on the previous night in Scarborough"

"There was no breakfast available despite the description stating there was. The bath had no plug & the electric shower was very temperamental (from cold to scalding). The decor left a lot to be desired with nails/screws sticking out of the walls. There wasn’t a TV in each room & bedroom furniture was unstable."

"Charming hotel close to the train station. The manager was kind enough to carry my luggage up and down the stairs. I arrived exhausted and fighting a froggy voice. The food was amazing and I slept well."

"A very unique place to stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I couldn’t praise them enough, especially the breakfast staff and the Library bar staff. They were always smiling and happy to chat. We stayed in a courtyard superior room that was very big with a very large and comfortable bed. We were on the ground floor and were able to park our car by the room each day. The stairs and floor in the bedroom above us were very creaky but it’s to be expected with the age of the property....

"What a beautiful inn. It’s quiet and the staff are all very friendly. I stayed there one night and chose it because of its proximity to Kynren. It was about a 15 minute drive from their car park. So convenient! Especially when you’re getting out of the show at 11 o’clock at night. Their breakfast in the morning had lots of options, both hot and cold. I wish I could’ve stayed longer in the area."

"Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel."
