"The property was lovely, inspiring, accommodating, and upscale. It’s only about a 10 minute ride from the bustle of DT Victoria so being nestled in a quiet area as pretty lovely. David, a manager at the Rosewood, made out stay absolutely unforgettable. His knowledge of the property, history of the hotel and Victoria, and suggestions of things to do absolutely made our time at the Rosemead exception and unforgettable. "Room overlooked a major vehicle thoroughfare - Douglas Street - and there was much traffic noise from cars,trucks and buses, not to mention that the room also overlooked a four-way traffic stop which resulted in traffic stopping and starting. Also, an old fridge adjoining the bedroom make a loud humming noise solved by pulling out the electrical plug to stop it. The air conditioner did not work. The walls were poorly insulated - could hear footsteps and voices from the floor above from other...

"The building was being renovated. The lobby and elevator were dated but our hotel room floor was renovated and clean. Our room was a little small to accommodate the two queen beds and chair (little room to open the closet) but otherwise a good room."

"Not a great experience at all. Stains all over the couch and a dead rat at the entrance of the Inn wasn't a great first impression. It was so hard to sleep with all the noise outside our room and we didn't use the pull out couch due to the stains, etc - so we asked and the manager to change rooms. He said no problem.
