Beautiful hotel with lots of activities.
"The hotel is built beautifully. Lots of activities around and the activities court are well maintained. There’s the beach, golf course and pools! The pool area is big and very kid friendly! It’s a family pool with slides and stuff! The room is nice with actually really good toiletries. The ONLY unpleasant ..."
"Nature! Lovely. Star gazing, animals / birds/ insects discovery. Quiet, relax, simplicity. Very good nature environment for toodlers to explore Resort surroundings. Hardly wait for durian trees to fruit few months down the road, am wondering whether stay-in guests will have the chances to enjoy free ..."
"cleanliness is okay. parking is adequate and safe. just a little sad, my room is booking for 3 people. there are 3 beds. but towels only get two. for extra towels increment rm6. a little sad. because of other hotels when booking. no extra charge, I paid for 3 people. 3 beds. there should be 3 towels. ..."
"THEY PUT ME IN ROOM 102, WHICH HAS UNLOCKED WINDOWS AND IS ACCESSIBLE FROM THE OUTSIDE. I COULDNT SLEEP BECAUSE I WAS SCARED OF BEING MUGGED! THE TOILET IS FILTHY WITH MOSS AND WHATNOT AND THE TV DOESNT WORK. I WILL NEVER RETURN ANS I HOPE THE HOTEL BURNED DOWN BECAUSE OF STUPID MANAGEMENT. THE STAFF SAID THE DEPOSIT WILL GET REFUNDED ON 2 DAYS NOTICE. IF IVE KNOWN I COULDVE PAID THE DEPOSIT VIA CASH. WHAT YOU GIVE YOU GET BACK. I AM AN UNHAPPY CUSTOMER."
"We booked the Banjaran for the middle weekend of a two week second honeymoon. It was meant to be the highlight, and filled that role perfectly. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were being pampered in a very special place.
Our water villa was absolutely lovely, and it was tempting to stay there, relax, and enjoy the tubs etc. But it was also worth venturing out to enjoy the various pools and caves.
Jeff's Cellar provided an amazing dinner on our arrival night, and we chose the 'In Private' BBQ to be served in our room for the second night, which was amazing (but way too much food for us to finish).
A few reviews mention problems with bugs and monkeys. I managed to pick up a few bug bites on the golf cart ride to the villa, and after that the supplied repellent mostly kept them away. But it's probably a good idea to apply repellent before arrival. The resort isn't particularly bad though - I got a similar batch of bites on an evening walk through Singapore. We were treated to the spectacle of the monkeys sat on our villa roof tearing apart a packaged loofah they'd pinched from a service cart, but that was more amusing than problematic.
A two night stay felt about right. We could have maybe kept ourselves occupied for another day, but there's only so much hot tub one can take."

The ONLY unpleasant thing was the the room had a lot of flies! And I think it’s normal and unavoidable. The room came with fly swatter that the hotel advised us to use! Which I found fun but also after getting rid of a lot of flies it was a bit yuck."
