"I incorrectly thought that the hotel lost my GPS between the baggage cart and my room. The hotel verified that it was on the cart but refused to look in my room to verify it was missing. I was loud an very accusatory and asked the front desk manager (Ron?)to call the police. I have to say that in light of my obnoxious behavior he was calm and worked to deescalate my ranting. He eventually agreed to searc my room with my permission and voila....it was there the whole time. I apologized to...

"Super clean and nice to stay"

"We arrived and were greeted nicely by the hotel staff. We were told the coffee machine isn’t working in the lounge area, but that it would be fixed we thought our room was really cute and nice. Though the rooms are extremely small, not a lot of places to set things on. Our first and only real problem was the shower. At first it was so much pressure your skin came off almost came off, then the temp was unstable. When I tried to adjust it broke completely so to stripping. My husband fixed it...

"The rooms were very clean and big. The staff were amazing, so very courteous and helpful. They really made you feel welcome. Location easy walk to beach. Short drive to marina and eschuary. Wonderful location. Saw lots of marine wildlife, pelicans, seals, otters, birds, deer."

But I feel like I was scammed, I don't know if by Expedia or by the lodge because when I booked it that afternoon, it says it's the only room left so I paid $195. But when I checked again after an hour, that same room is available again for a cheaper price of $160! The room is non-refundable so there's nothing I can do to change it. That price difference could almost cover my dog's pet fee. With today's economy, every dollar counts. So...
