"We arrived and were greeted nicely by the hotel staff. We were told the coffee machine isn’t working in the lounge area, but that it would be fixed we thought our room was really cute and nice. Though the rooms are extremely small, not a lot of places to set things on. Our first and only real problem was the shower. At first it was so much pressure your skin came off almost came off, then the temp was unstable. When I tried to adjust it broke completely so to stripping. My husband fixed it...

"Some old places have charm, some are just old. On arrival we were assigned a front room, musty, on the street, noisy. The windows could be opened, to allow air, but there were no screens in the window. A paper handout said there were screens in the (decrepit) armoire, which was true, but they were way too small for the windows. The floor in front of the windows sank a bit and made a distressing noise when stepped on. I hope there was no one in the room below, like ever, or they could be in...

"Really good place to stay, super comfy bed, clean room, easy check in. Staff wasn't there to answer the phone or help me, and I was trying to get back into the room the get an item I left. So that's a loss now but other than that it was incredible."

"Hotel receptionists are very pleasant and helpful. I checked out at 11am, but my airporter shuttle wasn't scheduled until late afternoon. I was able to leave my suitcase in the hotel lobby between those times rather than having to lug it all around town. Very helpful. Not every motel or hotel does this."

"Stayed here for a birthday weekend trip, very nice room, clean, far enough to have quiet nights but close enough to local shops or late night snack stops. In the center of everything basically. Would definitely recommend."

"Good if you want to be at the beach a a lot. Really nice community and property hospitality. However, there is no air conditioning on the property, only heater. So be careful going during the summer."

"We stayed a few days at Colton Inn and overall the stay was pleasant. The door could use a seal around it and maybe that would help dampen the noise from the walkway outside. The shower had lower pressure. The breakfast was a basic continental, nice to have a quick bite. All in all, a good property on a less noisy street that most other places. We would stay again."
