"The solo room is so small. My room was at the top of the stairs which was a bit inconvenient. My fridge want working and despite requests it wasn't fixed. My phone to the front desk also wasn't working. There was only a fan for the room during a heatwave so the room was so stuffy."

"We arrived 45min before the 2pm check in, exhausted and tired. Staff charged us 10pounds per room for early check in!!! Then said they would charge 10pounds and we can hang out together in 1 room until 2pm. Then return to reception to get access to the other room. Then gave us immediate access to both rooms and charged us 10 pounds!!! Really!"

"Room and parking prices are reasonable, room was clean, shower very good, staff helpful. Full English breakfast very cheap (£8) but I'd rather pay a bit more for something more appetising. Eggs were cold, sausage didn't taste of anything and bacon looked like it had been boiled rather than fried."

"The Selwyn was a wonderful hotel and our stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lift, so no stairs needed to carry your cases up. They had air conditioning which in the London heat was heaven. The hotel is immaculately clean inside and out. We drove to the hotel directly from the airport and after checking in, we enjoyed a nice Pimms from their bar outside on their patio. The hotel is 2 mins walking to the town with lots of shops,...
