"This hotel was awesome! I arrived much later than expected and I was warmly greeted by the front desk! The gentleman at the front desk offered to take my bags to my room for me! So very thoughtful! The Lobby was very clean, as was my room. I was so hot because of the temperature in Rome. I wished that the Pool was open upon my arrival. When I entered my room, it was so very cool, that I no longer needed the pool! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone!"
"Great location for getting to sought-after sites. Basically, midway between the Vatican and Colosseum (20 mins to each). As the hotel is a block away from a taxi stand, the staff can get you in a cab in 5 mins. Speaking of staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive, be it the front desk, rooftop bar restaurant, or room. "Beautiful hotel, however construction nearby going on and it’s dark walking to restaurants nearby felt a little unsafe. Also there is a nightclub nearby they kept me up until 1am every night make sure you don’t get a room facing street. Very expensive too but we couldn’t find much with a one bedroom so our adult daughter and us could have some privacy. "

"The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests with professional diligence. We also had a wonderful dinner at Mirabelle on property. Conveniently located within reasonable walking distance from the Colosseum, the Vatican, and Spanish Steps. Hotel Splendide was not just a place to stay, but a wonderful experience."
