"This should have been lovely, spa bath in room, bathrobes etc but unfortunately it was disappointing. Tied decor, no bathroom lock, the noisiest flush on a toilet I’ve ever heard, bath plug didn’t fit properly so water drained away, window handle broken so it couldn’t be opened (it was over 30degrees that day). "Although the hotel is dated and there was only one socket (by the desk), the bathroom in my accessible room was the most comprehensive I've encountered. No less than 7 grab rails in all the right places! All the staff were a credit to Greene King. Well done"

We had everything we needed provided for us, and there was even a bottle of milk in the fridge waiting for us. The beds are really comfortable, as are the sofas, and the bathroom and kitchen are fab! Housekeeping could have done a better job at replacing used items such as vanity kit and tissues, also they didn't remove dirty tea cups. Very comfy bed and nice shower and toiletries.
