"I had such a wonderful experience at Hotel Maat Etoile! Very clean room, very accommodating staff, and the location is perfect for anyone who enjoys being central to excellent food options from both restaurants and markets, and different types of cuisines. You would expecially love this location if you have a sweet tooth as there are at least 4 viennoiserries and 3 gourmet chocolateries, all in the same street! The location is just a short distance from both Ternes and Charles de Gaulle Etoille stations. The shower has the most excellent water pressure in any hotel or airbnb I have ever stayed at, and is a godsend when you need a decent shower after a long stressful flight or train commute. Would love to be back the next time I’m in Paris!"

"Overall rally good, one of the guys was excellent super friendly and helpful. However another guy was rude and seemed annoyed to speak to us, he was too busy playing with his phone. We asked for a toothbrush as we had left one at home and he was quite rude, the next the day the good guy was happy to provide to this to us. Great location, central, not sure if the breakfast is worth it if I'm being honest."

"Rooms are very small. Cool concept. Bunk beds were perfect for our kids. Tight space around queen bed. Breakfast in AM was ok. Told it ended at 1030am for guests and 10am for outside visitors, so I paid $50 euro for a family of 4. At 10am, a lady came up and said we had 10 minutes to finish and began picking up buffet. At 10:30am, same lady came up and told us to leave restaurant. Absolutely zero customer service. The gentleman who i paid at hostess station was excellent and professional. Due to the rooms size, thin walls, cost of room and experience with Breakfast, I would not recommend staying here. "

"The hotel has all the basics. The staff are helpful and friendly. The lobby is updated and the rooms are basic. The rooms are modest and minimal. The towels weren’t changed during our stay. The safe did not work properly - which wasn’t great. The location is a little farther from the sites than I would have wanted. We spent more on uber and texts and clocked 17k in steps each day. I would recommend staying closer putting these funds into a Boutique hotel in an area you love. It will be worth it. Finally we left a sweater behind. The hotel was good enough to let us know. I was impressed by this. The only options for getting the item back via post was a business service and an urgent business service for 230 euros and 113 euros. No regular post option. All in all, great staff, clean hotel, very basic. A few tweaks - fresh towels, working safe and a reasonable return article option would have gandered a higher score. The location vs cost is something everyone will assess for themselves."

"The check in staff (Moonua) is the nicest front desk person I’ve ever met. Helpful, funny.. say HI from the Hunters. Location, amazing- you can catch the subway to anywhere within 200 feet. Beds, comfortable. Shower, strong Things to fix- Rooms are small so they need more functional end tables, not bigger, just maybe taller with drawers and switch out the current sitting makeup table to a unit with drawers. No place for clothes. Cleaning staff need to be more attentive and take empty bottles and dirty glasses. I would 100 percent stay there again. Warming - taxi from airport 56 euros. Hotel was charging 76 to go back. Download BOLT app for Uber type of service, way cheaper."
