Perfectly adequate Inn. Good location to alot around Alona. The main fault i had with the place was the very hard bed and rock like pillows. I believe there are similar places, price wise, around that offer free breakfast and maybe even a pool, so i will dig a little deeper before booking next time

Alona Gecko is very clean, simple accommodation in a fantastic location. Great restaurants nearby and a short walk to the beach. There are no fancy extras - just a good place to stay with friendly staff, and a nice clean bathroom to shower after a day at the beach. Well worth the price.

10 days, no complaints- a great find!

We've been to Alona 5+ times and our most recent stay was the first time we stayed at Alona Gecko but wish we'd discovered before! The location, size, amenities, and staff are a steal! Hot water shower, fridge, kettle, lanai, great staff, and great location. Especially for this very quickly changing part of the Philippines, Alona Gecko still provides great value and service among bigger, over-priced resorts which are taking over. No complaints, just hope it's still here on our next visit!!

VALUE FOR MONEY.

VERY GOOD. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. The room had good A/C, a refrigerator, decent size bedroom and bathroom. Extremely helpful staff. Very near main road but very quiet.. Good situation.

Immer wieder gern :-)

Reisen in Südostasien hat oft Herausforderungen: Langsames WiFi, lahme Klima, laute Bässe oder Kakerlaken. Im Gecko Inn war all das nicht vorhanden. Alles war in super Zustand, ordentlich und funktionstüchtig. Kann das Hotel daher nur wärmstens empfehlen, wenn man am Alona Beach Urlaub machen möchte und nachts dann doch seine Ruhe von der lauten Musik oder der nahen Straße haben will. Holger war dazu auch total nett bei der Begrüßung und ich hatte den Eindruck, ihn mit jeder Frage belagern zu dürfen.

清潔で使い勝手の良いホテル

部屋は清潔で、ビーチからも歩いて近く非常に重宝しました。プールはないですが、日中アクティブに参加したり、ビーチ遊びするなら料金も安いのでありだと思います

パングラオ島全般に言える事ですが、トイレにペーパーが流せないので、備え付けのゴミ箱に入れますが、その日毎の白いビニル袋を持って行って、その中に入れて捨てる方が良いと思います。ウォシュレットの代わりに、小さなシャワーヘッドの洗浄器具が付属してますので、慣れが必要ですがお尻は洗えます。目の前の庭は、毎日早朝にスタッフが落ち葉や枯草を掃除してますので、とても綺麗です。難を挙げると、洗濯が禁止で、外の小さな干すところには、バスタオルや水着のみと決められています。また、室内履きが無いので、サンダルを買うなど必要です。サンダルは近くで170ペソくらいで売っています。飲料水は、ホテルで買う方が安いです。たくさんあった方が良いと思います。タオルは言えば替えてくれます。言葉は英語になりますので、翻訳アプリで対応しました。チェックインの時、一部屋あたり、1000ペソのデポジットを徴収されます。チェックアウトの時、戻ってきます。

can’t wash your clothes !

the place is well situated, the staff is friendly and the room is big enough. But then I readed the rules and one is that you can’t wash your clothes. You only was swim suit, that’s it. I think it’s an abusive rule ! How I’m supposed to wash my clothes then ? I asked 2 différents staff and none could explain me why. The last day when I check out I was talking about that again and she told me that I could use the sink outside... it’s great to know that when I check out... I asked again why I can’t just wash my clothes in the room I paid ? She said it’s because of the soap going to some pipeline..... soooo it’s mean that I shouldn’t use Shampoo and soap when I shower ? Totally non sense ! It’s like I’m forced to use a laundry company... but maybe I don’t want to give my clothes to any company? Is the owner thought about it ? I traveled 34 countries so far and went to cheap and luxurious hotel, it’s the first time I heard about this abusive rule ! Hôtel.com should let people know that rule!!

Hello Hichem, thanks for your review. We would like to go back to the subject of washing clothes. The main reason for this is actually wastewater treatment. The laundry detergent influences our septic tank system for wastewater treatment due to the chemicals and their dosage. The wastewater is purified with the help of bacteria. However, the detergent destroys these bacteria. For this reason, we have a separate waste water tank with special water treatment for our washing machines in the guest house so as not to disturb this process. For washing clothes, there are numerous laundries nearby, which are not very expensive either. We do not have the possibility to deposit the house rules to this extent. For this reason, we draw the attention of the guests on site. So far this has never been a problem befor. I hope we could answer your questions now. Best regards Alona Gecko Management

房價便宜，房間乾淨，位置佳，CP值高。

1.房間很寬敞，冷氣很涼，房間乾淨。 2.設備: A.房間有桌椅方便在內用餐或擺放物品，B.沒有衣櫥，但是有置物櫃跟衣架。 C.有水杯、熱水壺、冰箱。 D.無盥洗物須自備，有熱水器但沒熱水。 E.床是薄被，所以冷氣別開太強。 F.房外設有晾衣繩，曬泳衣很方便。 3.員工值班24小時，深夜會鎖門，若要外出發現鐵門打不開，就等值班人員回來開。要提前退房會有人辦理，也可以提前先跟櫃檯說。 4.房價便宜，離海灘很近。懶得走路搭摩托車下去只要20peso。

奇怪德國老闆

整體良好，唯獨酒店德國男老闆定下奇怪規則，不容許住客於露台晾曬衣物。借毛巾亦規限住客每天只可借一次，和要住客自行清洗。酒店菲藉員工服務態度很友善熱心，替客人介紹租借電單車的地方。

Thanks for the rating. The towels are beach towels they give our guests for free if they want them. These are not changed daily like the normal towels, this should the guest independently after the beach visit to the hanging device in each room hang up to dry them, so that they can be used again the next day. Of course, the device can be used for bathing clothes for drying or clothes for drying. It is not intended to wash clothes in the sink or shower and then hang in this place.

房間位置很棒，如果不是禮拜天入住的話，周圍都會蠻安靜的。入住第一天建議直接跟服務台買水。很便宜。需要自備吹風機、房間內也沒有熱水是比較可惜的地方。服務人員很客氣。

nothing bad actually

Stayed here for 4 nights with my friend, we had an amazing time. The room was clean and perfect size. It was cozy having a little terrace outside to enjoy a cold drink after beach etc. Was literally no problems, just ants that kept coming back but the staff and manager were very helpful with that! The place is 2 minute walk from Alona beach, and right outside is also stores and restaurants, 7-eleven etc. everything is really close! I’m a picky one with where to stay but can say I would definitely stay here again when I need something cheaper but still comfortable and clean!! 5/5

Ошибся с выбором отеля

Общее впечатление от отеля не приятное. Побывав в нем создаётся впечатление что отзывы написали сами работники отеля. При заселении на стойке регистрации, регистрировала не любезная и не очень приятная регистраторша, создалось впечатление что сделала мне одолжение. При заселении берут депозит. Номер так же не приятен, темный, света попадает мало, свет можно включить только при закрытых шторах, иначе за тобой будет наблюдать вся гостиница, это же касается и террасы перед номером. Отсутствие телевизора не было проблемой, с собой был компьютер, а сигнал WI FI позволял смотреть YouTube. Ванная комната также плохо освещена. Горячая вода возможна только в душе, в умывальнике только холодная, и при наличии всего одного небольшого зеркала, побрится нормально не возможно. Матрас жёсткий. В описании указывается что есть сейф, но это простой шкафчик который закрывается на очень простой ключ. Постоянный сильный шум с улицы и днём и ночью, а утром ещё и с офиса гостиницы, поэтому нужны очень хорошие беруши! Во время экскурсии на острове видел намного лучше и более удобные гостиницы с бассейном за такие же деньги.

飯店離大街&海灘很近，室內空間乾淨夠大，浴室半乾濕分離，櫃台員工親切，會主動幫旅客叫車，唯一缺點是附近Club到夜晚顯得有點吵，不過隔音不錯，進室內就明顯改善，在邦勞島很推薦的飯店。

Отель находится прямо в самом центре деревни. Все что надо доступно пешком (пляж, фрукты), до пещеры 20 минут на байке, до би фарм 10 минут. Продлили проживание без проблем, очень приятные девушки на ресепшн.

結構良かったです。

フィリピン人の友人と一緒に3泊しました。部屋はきれいで問題ありません。宿泊期間中バスタオル等の交換はありませんでした。リクエストすればあるかもしれません。周辺はレストランや店も多くて便利です。個人的にはまた利用したいと思います。

お部屋は綺麗で便利です！！

お部屋は手入れが良い届いており、快適に過ごすことができます。レセプションの皆さんも常に笑顔。外の音も聞こえてこないし、何の問題もありません。この価格帯でのお宿なら最高ランクですね！！ 4年前にパラガヨに宿泊しましたが、私はアロナゲッコーインの方がおススメです。立地も中心地に近く、ランドリー屋さんやパン屋さん、チェーンのマッサージ屋さん「nuat THAI」も徒歩圏内です。

住了兩晚，地點方便，環境整潔安靜，CP值高。但退房時有令人不太愉快的感受-：退房在清晨5：50，前一天晚上7：00特別跟值班門房說我們清晨很早要離開，詢問退押金和退房手續如何處理，他回覆我們說他會安排。結果，退房當天，早上值班的門房找不到我們的資料，還因此去把老闆吵醒，老闆在處理時口氣也不太好，碎念我們如果提早講，他就能先準備，但我們明明有提早告知卻還要被誤會，員工訓練有待加強。我們要趕船隻前往下一站，也沒時間多做解釋了。

Plusläge och trevlig personal

Riktigt bra läge, nära till allt, men ligger lugnt i en gränd. Trevlig grönskande trädgård utanför altanlängan. Ganska små rum, men funktionella. Största minuset hamnar på sängmadrassen, typ hängmatta. Sevicemedveten och trevlig personal..

場所便利。部屋も機能的で快適。

アロナビーチへも徒歩ですぐ行ける場所にあり、便利。メインロードから少し入るので静か。客室は6部屋で宿泊客もほとんど欧米人で静か。（現在部屋を増設中。）客室は新しくシンプルで清潔で機能的。女子が好きそうな感じ。湯沸かし器、冷蔵庫、ハンガーなどもある。部屋の外には水着をほせる場所もあり（ただし、通常の洗濯は禁止）。コスパもよく、快適でした。マイナス面はベッドが結構沈む、壁が若干薄い、近くのクラブか何かが深夜遅くまで（3時ごろもやっていた）やっているらしく、音は聞こえないが、低音の振動がなんとなく伝わってくること。

A really good hotel

It was a really nice stay. The location was good and near most things. The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly.
