"The national teachers union had thousands of their members staying in tents around the hotel and the surrounding area. They were justifiably unhappy about their scandalously low wages and changes to their pensions. The protesters were exceptionally nice people and the hotel staff maintained a respectful atmosphere in a challenging environment. I can’t say enough nice things about the young man who carried my bag for two blocks to pick up my Uber to the airport. Terrific service on his part....

"The room and bathroom were clean, and the housekeeping staff was very polite. The entire staff was friendly, especially the restaurant team, who provided excellent service. The front desk staff was courteous; however, they were not very helpful in accommodating our request to have all three rooms for our group located together. "This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was really clean, the staff was very helpful and responsive. The aesthetics were top notch. You can tell everything was carefully thought out. The only thing we were not too fond of was the food. The view on the rooftop was so beautiful however so it made up for it . Def would recommend staying here "
