"Lovely setting, plentiful breakfast w lots of choice (no rotten or mouldy food while I was there, to address earlier reviews). Staff are very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. It’s not central, but is good value. Easy access to public transportation. Kitchen is clean and well equipped and breakfast meal service is good."

"The loft room was perfect for me and my teenage son. We each had our own sleeping area and privacy when wanted as heavy curtains close around each king bed. The hotel was very clean and the bedding, towels, and slippers were top notch. We were able to walk to all of the sights from the hotel which was lovely. "The hotel is nice. The staff at checking was not very friendly. She was not rude but just a yes and no answers, like she did not want to be there. The room was nice and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. It is located in a perfect place. A 5 minute walk to the harbor and many restaurants, head the other direction and you are by the shopping area another 5-10 minute walk. The castle us a very short walk away. "Good location, a stone throw away from Oslo Sentral. The breakfast was sumptuous with lots of variety. It was a weekend and too many occupants in the hotel, so we were given 50 minutes for the breakfast only, otherwise I could spend two hours eating. The next day we have a early train to catch, the hotel is very considerate to prepare mini buffet breakfast from 430am for the early birds."
