Lovely setting, plentiful breakfast w lots of choice (no rotten or mouldy food while I was there, to address earlier reviews). Staff are very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. It’s not central, but is good value. Easy access to public transportation. Kitchen is clean and well equipped and breakfast meal service is good.

Need a friendly face

The property is located in a beautiful area right outside of Oslo. It’s clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have an amazing kitchen that has all the equipment and space you need. The rooms are clean as are all the facilities and the laundry is affordable and works!

Clean and comfortable, but out of the city.

I found this property very clean and reasonably comfortable. They had a laundry room which was very handy and a comprehensive buffet breakfast. It was a quiet area and quite away from the city centre, which is an expensive taxi ride too and from. There are local buses and trams which may get you near, if you can work out how to find and interpret the stops etc.

The towels we got were dirty and stained. We could not use them. We took pictures and went to the reception to get new towels. The gentleman refused to give us towels as he wanted proof that the towels were not cleaned by their cleaning contractors. This shocked me. I gave them the original towels and finally got fresh towels.

Établissement type auberge de jeunesse. Fait l’affaire pour 1 nuit. Borne de recharge VL électrique un peu capricieuse, ne pas hésiter à recommencer la démarche si le VL ne charge pas. Petit déjeuner avec du choix, très appréciable avant de prendre la route. Établissement au calme.

Pros: The hostel is located in a nice, green area. Flybussen goes near, and there is a shopping mall within 1.5 km. The room was surprisingly nice and big, heated floor in the bathroom. Cons: location on top of a hill is not the best for travelers. The breakfast was very basic. The condition of the hostel buildings would need improving.

Zeer grote hostel, goed en praktisch maar ver uit het centrum. Er is wel een goede busverbinding naar het centrum. Bij het boeken kon ik kiezen voor een kamer met 3, maar bij aankomst kreeg ik een kamer van 6 en bleek het niet mogelijk om een kamer van 3 als dorm te boeken. Ik zou kunnen wisselen naar een kamer van 4, maar de hostel was volzet.

Städning sker inte så länge du bor där,ingen tv,ingen radio, gratis parkering( Oslo är svindyrt att parkera) m Nära till spårvagn,t-bana, kolla biljettalternativ på ruter,ladda ner appen ( # ). 7-dagarsbiljett pensionär över 66 = 184 kr, under 66. 399kr. Väldigt billigt inom zon 1.
