We liked the spacious room which is unusual for hotels in Japan, The staff were very helpful during our 16 night stay in Osaka, especially when we don't speak Japanese. They even arranged for our luggage to be transferred to Tokyo. As for location, the hotel is 2 little blocks from the main Dotonbori food/shopping area. That is, you are just a few minutes walk from all the action/noise. Such an enjoyable stay. Thank you Doutonbori Crystal Hotel and the staff.

The staff was very accommodating and kind. It would be nice if they had a actual king bed since that was what I reserved for. The bed was 2 small bed pushed together so it was uncomfortable sleeping in the cracks of the bed.

The guys at the front go ABOVE AND BEYOND. They helped me with shipping my luggage from Osaka to Tokyo. I don’t speak or write in Japanese, so you can imagine how difficult it was for me. LOVE this hotel. Highly recommended!!

Nice hotel

We really liked this hotel. The service is great, hotel is clean, new, and nice. The only issue is the location - it's walkable to Dotombori but is a bit far from metro stations. I think the closest one was about 15 minutes walking distance.

Clean; quite and convenient. Queen beg however was actually two mattress pushed together. There was a very hard line between the two which was uncomfortable to lie on.

Convenient and Clean

Fairly convenient place and near to the main shopping and eating district. Minus points for finding an old drink bottle in the fridge, not a big deal as they might have missed it. But overall, the place was very clean and well maintained.

It’s a nice hotel in a great location near dotonburi. Train stations are in close walking distance. The room was quite large compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Japan. Definitely recommend this place!

Terrible service, great location

There were many issues with our stay here: Despite communication before arrival the bedding was feather. They didn’t have anything available until the next day despite it only being 3pm. The service was incredibly frustrating. The language barrier wasn’t a problem it was just poor. Our shower head leaked and sprayed water everywhere, the irony being they sold these at the reception. Returning from a day out we found the staff cleaning. They had left our door jammed open and were nowhere to be seen. You have to leave your key when you go out for the day. They lost our key. Took around 5 minutes before they decided we had left the key and it was ok to use a master key. They had left the key in our room when cleaning. The service was horribly frustrating. The location is fantastic. I would just suggest you staying in a different hotel.

Large-sized room for Japan. The staff was extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay and provided us with recommendations when we asked questions about the area. It's an easy walk to Dotonbori. Also, there is a microwave downstairs if you ever need to warm something up. Only heads up is if you pay for the breakfast, make sure you allow enough time to sit and eat. The chef will get anxious if she feels there is not enough time to accommodate you and make sure you have everything you need.

The hotel is located near Metro station. Eventhough it is not close to the station, it is not too far to walk. And it is good that the hotel is in quiet area, a little bit away from crowded area in Dotonburi shopping street. From Doutonburi station, go out from exit 6. When you have reached to the ground floor, make a Uturn and walk.. make sure that you cross the bridge over the canal before you turn right.

Great for solo travelers. Amazing location.

Great location and clean rooms. Maybe a bit small if you're not used to accommodations in Japan but was OK for me. Only negative is that the staff seemed to have trouble giving even basic recommendations on where to eat, what to do in the surrounding area.

Small but Cosy

Room size is average by Japan standards for this price point, but very cosy. Good luggage storage before and after actual stay. Interior design is user-friendly and intuitive to our needs.

Great Location

Short walk to Doutonbori and Kuromon Market. In a small side street but you are pretty much in the middle of the action. Will need to take an additional train line from Shin Osaka but once you get there, you are central to many attractions. Good service at front desk w/ some English spoken.

This hotel is quite new and is near to Dotonbori. OK to leave luggages for few hours with the hotel after checked out. Not so easy to locate the hotel at first as it is located rather further behind the main road which required at least 3 to 5 minutes walk through small roads/alleys. If you walk from Namba Station, it requires about 8 to 10 minutes or more with luggages.
