"This hotel is acceptable if you only need a place to rest between flights or other travel arrangements. The bed was comfortable and the room was fine, but overall the experience was very basic.
The biggest issue was the service. The staff did not feel particularly welcoming — very little friendliness, no smiles, and mostly short answers to questions.
I was also disappointed with the transportation advice. When I asked about Uber, I was told that Uber drivers would not come to the hotel because...

"We found the hotel to be luxurious and very clean.
However the big downfall for us was the very busy, noisy traffic on the road at the front of the hotel. Unfortunately our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the window closed you could hear the traffic noise day and throughout the night. It made it very difficult to relax and we had constant disrupted sleep at night.
In hindsight we should have requested to change rooms to the back of the hotel but we had unpacked and settled...

"The Hotel ran out of tourist map. Not the best start for a tourist not speaking Turkish. We were assigned a room that has drainage issue with the shower bath tub. Our shower took longer than usual bcos we had to pause the showering water to avoid flooding the bathroom. Still, the bathroom floor was very wet after. We requested for a change of room & they responded quickly & changed our room after breakfast the next morning. Other than this blemish, other aspect of the hotel was fine.

"It is a very atmospheric older style elegant hotel with a lovely garden with a fountain. An oasis in the very crowded old city. Breakfast was served overlooking the Sea of Marmara The cherry on top is that we had a room with a balcony overlooking the Blie Mosque. A very memorable stay."

"Staff was kind and attentive. The room was not what was expected from the pictures advertised. If you are looking for an affordable short stay then this is the right place, good location easy access by foot and public transportation 5min walk away. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were so flat and even 3 pillows were not enough. Keep in mind the hotel is in an area with a lot of tour busses passing by picking tour groups up so if in a cab or Uber you may be caught in a lot of...
