"I always try and stay here when I’m in Wellington but wow the property is starting to age. Tiles coming away in the shower, damaged sinks, frayed bedding and damaged carpets at entryways and stains everywhere. It really needs an upgrade already. Not worth what they charge anymore even though the location is amazing and the overall vibe is still awesome. "

Clear glass doors that didn't shut properly, and the shower has curtains that didn't stop water from getting everywhere. We were also on the ground floor and got a bit of noise from the cafe. "While the room and the property was decent enough, the shower in the bathroom was filthy. We ended up scrubbing the walls of the shower ourselves, cleaning off layers of mold and mildew. We never had the chance to discuss it with the front desk as it is really tough to find anybody at the front desk anytime we walked through the lobby. Other than the shower the rest of the room seemed to be decent enough."

"Hotel was partly under construction due to a new law that buildings in Wellington needed to comply. Easy walking to museums, harbor, restaurants, coffee shops and supermarket. Did not get the chance to try the hotel restaurant. It was a bit pricey."
