"Clean tidy nice place to stay"

"Immaculate clean room, very efficient staff, quick check in. Great location, but be aware that parking garage ( if you use it) is VERY tight. Even with a small SUV we were manoeuvring carefully to get round corners. Wonderful bed, great bathroom great view . We had a Studio Apartment which had all we needed, inc fridge, pots, cutlery etc etc, all new and spotless. Only observation was that there was only one chair. We didn’t use the restaurant but it looked good value. I would definitely recommend and visit again."

"Great location, beautiful lobby but the room on the 2nd floor was dusty. Dusty baseboards, the TV screen was so dusty that I could write “dust me” on it with my finger and visibly see it. The glass credenza under the TV was dusty and the shoe/luggage storage had dust piled in the corner about 5 inches across. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice, but definitely needs a cleaning."

"Main shops and the Te Papa museum within a short walk. If you are a light sleeper I could hear music two of the 3 nights until about 03:50 in the morning. We were on the 4th floor.. When I raised this with the reception I was told it must be one of the surrounding bars which are licenced until 4:00. Room was very clean and made up daily. No breakfast. We tried to access the “free drinks” in the lobby a couple of times but locked. Staff friendly. "

"Great location. Frig but no microwave. Water from the shower overflowed into the toilet area because there was only a small rubber gasket between them. It was reported to the housekeeper. "

"Just very poor cleaning service, and the unknown bond I hadto pay when I arrived and there was nothing online about no “100” bond?, …the first room we got was filthy the beds everything!! There was literally old rubbish just sitting there as we walked in it was a lot . The bathroom!! I’ve never seen a bathroom in such state fr!, the items we found in there shocking VERY!. The CRUMBS .yes as we walked in to our room there were crumbs all over one of the beds ,dust and rubbish all underneath the beds and lastly the dam stains on the beds , I just could not handle that service then on top of that no refund nothing !. Was stranded and had to find 100 bucks because the money I had was meant to last us our hole trip but unfortunately i ended up useing it cause reception really wouldn’t give up so we then ask for another room, and got another to find…the shower broken, the microwave didn’t even work aswell as old milk in the fridge it was just ridiculous…definitely wouldn’t recommend but hey if your tight on money and don’t care well there u go "
