"This is a typical upscale Bangkok Hotel. Our issue was despite receiving a confirmation of the booking, and an email from Avani saying we are looking to having you and quotes THEIR booking confirmation number the reception.The receotion staff claimed for half an hour that there was no reservation and that Expedia had failed to forward it. In short they refused to honour the reservation, and their own confirmation email and booking number, for forty minutes.

"The tall and thin guy at the reception who checked me in was sweet and polite.
The hotel should refurbish as the upkeep is worn out considering the price per night.
The shower pressure and hot water is inconsistent. Sofas shouldn’t be stained. Materials used in the interior should be upgraded to maintain the hotel brand reputation. "
