This is a difficult review to write. The staff and property were amazing with the pool area and breakfast hasd highlights. I paid for an upgrade to "suite" which was not a suite--rather a large king sized, dated room. My VIP perk were not offered. The wing where the "suite was needs to be updated. The room was dark and the amenities were old.

Outstanding hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and all areas and clean and well maintained. Shuttle boat to BTS and Icon Siam is very convenient. Great drinks in the Elephant Bar. Tour desk has some great options, if you are looking for something to do last minute.

I loved the Anantara Riverside Resort. The service is 5*, pool is lovely and the breakfast is unsurpassed. The resort's access on the Chao Praya River to the main sightseeing attractions in Bangkok makes it a perfect location. I recommend it to any discerning traveler without hesitation.

I have stayed at this property multiple times and am never disappointed. The staff are some of the most pleasant I have ever encountered, with a special callout to Milk Tea. Her smile and friendliness at breakfast started every day off on the right foot.
