"Our room was nice and the space was clean. While it felt a bit dated, it was still a great place to stay. Parking was easy at the hotel and the continental breakfast was typical. The woman who checked us in offered us a log for the fireplace, which was a nice touch. Also she gave some great recommendations for local dinner/drinks."

"There is no air conditioning in the rooms. Even though we knew it, we did know it would get so stuffy in the middle of the night. So we did not get a good night's sleep. After we open the fan and the patio door for the 2nd night, it was much better.

"We had a fantastic time st the Carmel Cottage. Super cute town close to Monterey and Big Sur for us to visit. The cottages were super cute and super clean. We also were able to roast some marshmallows for some s’mores with the kids. This place is also super pet friendly. I honestly would go back to this place again if we visit Monterey again!"
