"Lovely staff, great spot for seeing the northern lights, the property is on the route for the golden circle. The breakfast is delicious."

"These igloos were so cool! Our only issue were the door handles. The property had to provide instructions on how to use the handle and it was not real helpful. We were standing in the snow freezing trying to follow the instructions. It took so long we had to go sit in the car for a few minutes to warm up. I imagine this must have been an issue for others which explains the instructions and it was equally hard to get ok of the room each day. I would suggest changing the handles. It made us feel unsafe to be stuck inside not able to get out."

"Parking was good.thete was some mold under the window.there wetent enough towels, i asked for 2 more and they gave them to me.the walk way was solid ice i asked for some salt to be put down before i would have fallen.breakfsst was good but the same all 4 days.nice variety though. No microwave that would have been helpful."

"This hotel was incredible. The restaurant was delicious and a lot of the food is cooked in their Geothermal oven. We had a beautiful room that overlooked the river. Beds were comfy and we loved the hot tub. The only thing to note, is there is a strong sulfur smell in the rooms, but it didn’t bother us that much. After a while you get used to it ."

"Beautiful play to stay a bit off the road so it isn't loud from the traffic. Room was perfect for our stay, staff was friendly and they had gluten free bread to go along with the delicious breakfast. "

"Really great hotel, perfect spot to see the Aurora. A little out of the way and not close to any restaurants but that’s what makes it a good spot for the Aurora because of a lack of light pollution. The hotel restaurant is good. "

"honestly felt a bit bamboozled by the booking. The photos online clearly showed a sauna overlooking a hot spring, which was a big reason I chose this hotel. When I arrived, that feature simply did not exist at the property. It felt like false advertising, and that was pretty disappointing. The only relaxation amenity available was a hot tub with no jets. It’s basically just warm water. For a hotel promoting relaxation, that was a bit of a letdown. Like… come on. The room itself was alright—nothing spectacular, but it was clean and comfortable enough for a stay. The staff were very quiet, but they were polite and respectful. The breakfast selection was decent, but if you’re staying multiple days it gets repetitive pretty quickly. It would be nice if they rotated the options a bit, because eating the exact same breakfast every morning for several days isn’t great. Overall the stay was okay, but the misleading photos online really set the wrong expectation, which ended up being the most disappointing part of the experience."
