"Host was nice and friendly especially the goats tour. Guesthouse was very neat clean. Just little messy when taking shower. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset from our unit. Great stay at Iceland."

"We did not eat breakfast there but they had a nice area to eat and to relax, separate from our room, offering coffee, tea and hot chocolate at no cost. Staff was most helpful. There was plenty of parking available. We just had to enter the name of the hotel and our Apple map led us there very easily. Getting to Westman Islands was easy from there, as was the Golden Circle. "

"Beautiful property. Had a fire going upon arrival in the middle of the tent. Kind workers. The family tent was perfect! Two twins and a queen. All beds had heated blankets/mattresses. Would stay again!"

"We had a lovely stay in the Katla cabin. It was easy to find and central to most of our activities. Our host was very warm and welcoming. Beds were surprisingly comfortable!"

"We LOVED this property. Tucked off the main road in the farmland, was such a well appointed cottage with everything we could have possibly needed. The views were spectacular, the horses and sheep were so fun to watch right outside the big picture window. We loved it so much that we talked about building a little cottage on our own property similar to it. I highly recommend for small families or couples!!"

"It’s a bed and breakfast, but breakfast cost extra? We didn’t have breakfast there, but someone use our room or my name for breakfast. Staff was nice, but most amenities will cost extras. Very nice view and cute shared area and patio. Very strong sulfur smell in shower. Still like this place a lot, it was a really cute idea hotel/bed and breakfast place to stay."

"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. Floor was heated, including bathroom floor. We especially enjoyed the company of the property’s two friend dogs who came by my cabin and played ball with us (the dog brought its own ball to ask us to play, so cute!) The only one thing I would ask for is a little shelf in the shower area for us to place our own...

"Great place off the beaten path. Excellent restaurant onsite and comfortable beds and linens. Would definitely stay here again, and it would be perfect for a dark sky/northern lights experience."

"Convenient location and fairly new facility. Rooms are nice and clean. I would recommend to get some black out drapes for windows. I noticed many hotels do not have that and it does not get dark at night so difficult to sleep."

"Check-in process may be a little complicated if you don’t pay attention to the messages from the hotel. Otherwise it is a piece of cake. Speaking of cake, I loved breakfast you pick at the bakery next door. My favorite part of our stay."

"Really outstanding experience!! Outfitted with everything we needed, wish we had more time just to stay and enjoy the place. The observation deck is just stunning with 360 views of all the surrounding snow capped peaks, with a labeled skyline around the ceiling. The book detailing the history and creation of the place is a do not miss, clearly this project was and continues to be a labor of love. Can’t wait until we can come back again!"
