"If you like to be micromanaged and pay a fee for absolutely everything, this is the place for you! While the location/views are incredibly beautiful, our experience has been rather negative and frustrating. On multiple occasions, we have been frustrated by the staff/attendants. "The hotel is new and built where the old Ferris wheel used to be. The property itself is nice, modern, and in a great location. However, I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for the lounge access, as it only included water, juice, and inexpensive wine. You can still enjoy the upstairs lounge/bar atmosphere without purchasing the package. The staff were soft-spoken, but at times it felt like they were walking on eggshells in the lobby environment. "The hotel was central and easy to find with our car rental. Japanese hospitality has been top notch at every hotel and this was no exception. We were met at our car, escorted to check in and up to our room. We were later than expected and looking for a quick snack ending up at the 18th floor lounge. We were surprise by the 550Y “cover charge” to go in. Other than that we were very happy with this beautiful, central hotel!"
