"Amazing place to stay, we had a double room with our own bathroom. Everything was clean, spacious, and comfortable while being convenient and sustainable. The location was right in the city centre but still nice and quiet and the reception staff was the loveliest, giving us local recommendations and letting us leave our luggage during the day. "Really lovely stay in Torchon. Perfect space for a couples getaway. Surprisingly well soundproofed. Nextdoor bar could be heard but not invasive at all. Slight downer was an issue with a leaking pipe causing the water and electricity to fail Sunday morning. Very impressive recovery! A large team were onsite immediately fixing the problem. Only a minor inconvenience that could have been much worse. Lovely room, comfy and everything we needed. Highly recommend "

"Went to Nottingham for a concert and booked here for the price and convenience. We arrived an hour before check in so there was a small fee but the room price was decent so that wasn’t too much of a problem. Room was tidy and clean and the areas around the reception/bar was clean and tidy. We didn’t eat there as we were meeting friends in town. Would definitely stay here again "

"Unfortunately, our stay fell short of expectations. On arrival, around half of the cutlery and crockery was missing, and what was provided was dirty and still covered in food. There was also no washing-up liquid or sponge available until we specifically asked for it. The room itself was uncomfortably hot to the extent that we had to turn the heating off and keep the windows open, despite it being winter.
