"Beautiful hotel, but the front desk manager completely ruined the experience. I reserved the suite for my wedding through my wedding planner directly with the hotel over the phone, yet when I arrived, I was told the suite had been given away because it was “not confirmed.” The front desk manager had no reasonable explanation and handled the situation very poorly. Although the suite became available on the wedding day, she failed to understand the urgency of prioritizing our room for cleaning, despite knowing we had very limited hours to get ready before the wedding. Instead, I had to switch between rooms while getting ready because the suite was not cleaned in time. We had to complain multiple times before anything was done. We had also booked several rooms for wedding guests, yet she made check-in unnecessarily difficult for everyone. The lack of professionalism, organization, and common sense made an already stressful day far worse. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. / Ariam"

"The hotel was in a good location to bike to Rome and overall it was a good stay, but there was a lot of noise outside of our hotel room late at night and we had what sounded like someone trying to get in our door once we had gone to sleep which scared us. But it's an older hotel, still very clean, but just loud doors so maybe it was just other people opening and closing their doors."
