We could not get a room in Galena, IL - so we opted for this one in Savanna. Despite 30 miles away from Galena, it was worth every penny and it was an easy/scenic drive to/from Galena. ...

"Very clean and well maintained hotel, but for a 24 hour casino, the food options were limited. We wanted dinner around 9 p.m, on a Thursday night and all of the restaurants were closed. Granted we don't normally eat dinner at 9, but we were enjoying the casino so much that time got away from us."

"The property is beautiful, rooms were clean, and the staff were great! Good location. Drink prices in the bar were very reasonable as well. The only ding was the food at the restaurant - it was not the best. I would definitely stay again if ever in Dubuque, just maybe look elsewhere to have dinner and breakfast."

"I was there with my Mom for a weekday conference, and the price was a good value for what the property offered. The only thing that was frustrating was the walls seem to not be as soundproof as they could be. The first night there was a guest above us that sounded like an elephant walking back-and-forth about 50 times between the hours of 10 P.M. and midnight, and the family in the room next to us sounded like they were in the hallway right outside the door. Other than that, the stay was nice...
